When I saw this stone it reminded me of a desert tumbleweed. Like the ones I've seen blowing across the I-10 during a road trip to California. I thought it would make a beautiful ring. I decided the warm brown tones of the agate needed to be wrapped in high-karat gold. And the thick brushed sterling silver band has such a nice weighted feeling on your hand. I cut a window in the back of the stone to allow light to shine through, and finished the frame of the stone with my signature hand-carved detail. She's a real beaut.
